Connecticut HIV Planning Consortium Meeting

The CHPC is a public health HIV/AIDS planning group with a goal to reduce the rate of new HIV infections and to connect people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS with appropriate services. CHPC and its diverse partners assist the Connecticut Department of Public Health in developing a statewide HIV prevention and care plan.

Positive Voices: A Support Group for HIV + Men
Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Location: 1302 Chapel Street, New Haven CT
Positive Voices is a support, social and information group for men who are living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Positive Voices meets ever other Wednesday from 4:30- 6:00 p,m. A ligth dinner is provided.

Support Groups address the needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS, including friends and family. Many who are infected with HIV occasionally need a shoulder to lean on or a sympathetic ear. MFAP holds support groups in English and Spanish so that our clients have an opportunity to express their feelings. We invite all who are infected with HIV to take part in this healing process.

Must be HIV (+) to participate. Please call (203) 855-9535 before attending for the first time. Free, no participation fee or donation required.
